Chemical Research & Development

The 1000 m2 building at Bowburn contains 26 fume hoods as well as dedicated walk in facilities for cGMP manufacture, corrosive chemistry and pressure reactions.

Process Development

Process Development is a collaborative arrangement whereby High Force Research will take a client’s process and look to optimize it for the scale required for the next stage of the client’s product development process.

Contract Synthesis

High Force Research regularly carries out contract synthesis whereby a client will provide either a fully developed process that they require to be run on their behalf or a product that they require but do not have a process of their own.

Scale Up

A major part of High Force Research’s business involves the scale-up from grammes to kilos of processes supplied by our clients. This can involve our MHRA audited facilities for manufacture of APIs for early stage clinical studies.

Traceable Manufacture

As an intermediary quality level between research and GMP grade, HFR offer a traceable manufacture service similar to ISO 9001 standards.

HFR have been inspected by the MHRA and are in compliance with the principles and guidelines of good manufacturing practice as laid down by ICH Q7 and Eudralex volume 4 part II for clinical trials.
