Sometimes, as the saying goes, two heads are better than one!
If you have an exciting project you’d like to collaborate on, we would love to hear from you.
Collaborations with academic groups have involved the sponsoring of research in areas such as novel fluorescent dyes (Newcastle University) and stem cell differentiation factors for diagnostic applications (Durham University). And regarding the latter, we have recently applied for a patent on a range of stable retinoid derivatives with intrinsic fluorescence with different biological activities and different solubilities together with Durham University.
A second patent has been applied for using these retinoid derivatives as a potential treatment for Alzheimers disease in collaboration with Durham and Aberdeen Universities.
